We enjoyed the one cantaloupe off the vine!  I only planted three plants.  One did well.  Next season I will know what to do and expect.  Not bad though!  I'm learning!  The seeds were saved.  I cut into it without refrigeration.  

When it falls off the vine it is ready.

Just call me farmer dcat!  We have the space for it!  In the summer, there is sun here.  Lots of sun!  Right now morning sun, hits this area.  Expanding this crazy will be interesting.  The watermelon is vining out of the raised bed on to the ground!

I'm now looking forward to the zucchini!  Right now one of them is about half the size of my hand.  I have heard the flowers are good eating too!  In a pan with a little butter.  Or a lot!

What The Fuck Mike Johnson?

This is the one I'm getting this time.  I have a little trellis.  Again I don't want to use the ground.  Too many things can go wrong.  For flowers and plants that is fine.  Not my veggies!  

I'm getting two solar lights too!  Nice to light up the walk way at night.   I take it is magnetic.  I'll be starting seeds again soon.  Starting more tomatoes, beans, peppers...  indoors.  Some things I will start outside in the beds.  Climbers I will start them indoors.  They all can be transplanted in the first or middle of February.  

We get some cool weather, so I will wait.  January seems to be the coldest.  We still use the pool till the end of December.  Last year it was a week before New Years.  The year before it was the day before New Years.  Then February we were using the pool again.

Much to do!  I will be cutting back lantana, and other butterfly garden things.  Waiting for all the critters to go hibernate before I do that.  I don't want to disturb nature too much.  It will have to look messy for a while longer.  I'm seeing lots of cocoons that I don't want to disturb.  

It's Friday October 27th, We Still Have That Shit In Office!

 The END IS NEAR!  RUN!  ..... Run?  LOL  I'm ok with God I don't have to run!  But while I'm here, I will protect myself!

I can see it now...  Hi God!  I have a few losers I brought with me.  Obviously they killed me, however I took a few of them out, for attacking me.  Here are a few dozen for you to throw into hell!  

I always say I hope I won't have to, but if I do, I will protect my life or at least try to.

It's Friday and time for a Garden Update!

I found my 3 American Hollies, that I planted last November!  The reason why they were overwhelmed with weeds, is because of the flowers.  These cute little daisy flowers.  Flowers for the bees and butterflies.

These cute little daisy flowers turn into these horrible thorns, thorns that shoot out at you, sticking you!  I treated them like the enemy, cutting them carefully at the top, before removing the entire plant from the roots.  Then I chopped them up into my bucket, to dump into the fire pit.  Since it is too breezy, to have a burning.  They are sitting there drying up nicely.  "POOF" they will burn quickly!  

F the bees and butterflies next year!!!  I'll go to the edge of the woods, and throw out some wild flower seeds for them!

Here are the American Hollies!  I wasn't quite done here, when I took the picture.  I was happy to see it looking well!  It grew a foot!  Have berries for Christmas started!  One of the three must be a male!  The Nellie Stevens Hollies I have 4 of them growing, since April.  They have berries too!  They are more fuller.  They too have grown!  They are supposed to be fast at growing.

I put some Holly food on them and watered them.  They forgive me.  Just like the Jasmin I put in did.  The begonias are still hanging in there.  I really don't like them.  If they keep flowering and coming back like they did in the early summer, ok.  They can stay.  I needed to clean out my two planters of weeds too.  Everything grows in Florida very well!  Even weeds!

Now for the other part of the property way over towards the woods.  My garden is going nuts!  To think I started everything from seed!  Late August, because that is when I put in the raised bed.  I also started the seeds indoors.  I didn't direct plant all the seeds.  Just the lettuce, carrots, peas, and bunch onions.  Radishes, white sweet onions, cherry tomatoes, regular tomatoes, zucchini, squash, pumpkin, watermelon and cantaloupe, were done indoors.  Then transplanted to the beds.

This is keeping my sanity.  I was driven to grow food.  Now that I see I can, I will boost the volume in the future.  I do like the raised beds more though.  They have a better chance of making it.  I will try my hand at growing corn next season.  That should be interesting.  

Above is the watermelon, below on the left is the cantaloupe, then the cherry tomatoes.  I had picked several from it before this picture for my salad and harvest some of my lettuce.  Tasted better than store bought!

This Morning, The Poor Angies Of The World Are Crying.

 It's sad to see so many stupid people!  They still don't get it! 

Ah well.  Congratulations To Mike Johnson!  The people that can't see the good, have been blinded.  It's in the bible.  Mike, is a scholar in that department!  Most of all, "which I love" A Constitutional law, scholar!  

I'll still be praying hard, because I see some out there were so brainwashed, it isn't even funny!  They are becoming dangerous to themselves and others!  Criminals, have been allowed to do what ever they wanted for way too long.  The rest of us, were seeing it.  It made us sick!  Even move away!  However I was ready for a pleasant change.  Being around people with like minds, is a relief in its self!  I'm not good at pretend games!

It's really very sad.  How can so many have so much hate?  I'll give you one!  He is not of this Earth!  An enemy of Christ!  That's Satan himself!  He is working many right now.  I rebuke him, on an everyday basis!  I know why I was blocked on many social medias.  You think they are good?  No!  Lovers of themselves.  I see it!

I just keep celebrating all the gifts that I have, from God himself.  People don't understand, but I do.  Long as you keep doing for yourself and stop meddling in other's thoughts and freedom, the happier you will be.  I will continue to be a cheerleader for the good!  That alone will hit the evil on the ass!  That's why I was blocked.  Yes, I am vicious when it comes to Satan!

Meanwhile I celebrated with new friends.  A good time was had by all!  We did our fall fun early.  Here if I was a kid, I wouldn't go miles just for a candy bar.  I did decorate, that was my personal fun!  The town was also festive!  People recovered and helped each other, from the storm.  Weathering the storm.

I hope you do the same, and enjoy Gods gifts, putting him and him alone first!  Yep, I'm a sinner and he knows me well!

I fell in love with these two kids!  You will see why.  They are reenacting the past.  All those cast iron things, hanging on the wall, my grandmother had and cooked with!  We had the old fire stove, but she would be outside using the coals too!

Halloween to me was only fun!  Candy and dressing up, all the good things!  It's only evil if you let it be evil!  Honoring all souls day the next day was another reminder of all the good people that have joined Christ.

My family and I, had a wonderful time at a fish fest!  Perfect day at the Gulf!  Most of all so happy that the gardens made it through the storm!  Not so much a restaurant that we ate at on my birthday!  That was sad to see.

The more I live in Florida the more I don't miss Washington State!  It used to be nice.  I guess I love the country, being close to the Gulf is a love I always had.  I didn't realize it till now.  This is so close!  One can go across the state, be at a different beach on the Atlantic side and make it home before the street lights come on!

Never thought I would be growing food either.  I loved landscaping and gardening, but work was too tiring to come home and mess with plants.  I did very little back then.

At first, I made it simple.  Then the bug got to me, to do more and more.  Pretty soon being retired.  Then the summer of bullshit hit.  We had to get the hell out of there!  

Now?  I'm happier than a pig in shit!  As my friend deplorable Deb would say.  Actually my family would say that too!  We have the same sayings.  Thats probably why I liked her.  Common sense!  

We've got all this land!  I have it the way I want it, already!  I just have to maintain it all now.  The butterfly garden, is way over here, the garden is way over there, the other sitting area fire pit area...  I have all these areas!  God is smiling.  I know, there will be even more waiting for us, in his kingdom.  Man is crazy nuts!  Oh, how I know it!

I'm going to be putting the onions in the bed.  I grew them from seed.  I never bought my plants already grown for the vegetable garden.  I'm a seed planter.  Yes, it's how my grandmother did it.   

First here is a view from our master bedroom, through the sliding glass doors.  I'm planing to put in a french glass door someday.  Because, these glass doors don't slide away.  Like the others do.

The garden is coming along, very well!  Oh look!  The onions are in the raised bed already!  All is good!
