The dinner was cheaper than last year! Blue states probably kept the prices up just to show how wrong DJT was. Meanwhile a burden to families out there! I wouldn't put it past them at this point!
In the morning we had puffs with bacon.
Then we had a wonderful meal the turkey was slathered in butter that I mixed sage, thyme, orange zest, salt, pepper all fresh herbs, stuffed with onion, fresh sprig of thyme, oranges and apples. I sauté the neck for the gravy with garlic first and then add the neck to a soup pot.
Even my pies came out very nice! I made my own whipped cream, and my own egg nog. Nice and thick rich with fresh ground nutmeg.
The turkey came out very moist! Everything was perfect and the stuffing crispy instead of soggy. Bacon in that too!
