Fort Lauderdale

The more I was down south, the more I longed for my home.  I don't like the city.  It was interesting though, in a freak show get your eye full here, kind of way.  Seattle was always worse though.

The view of the ocean, different than Cannon Beach.  I still pick Cannon beach over this one.  But then, I got my fill of it going there all the time too.

Then of course you have your rich and famous with huge yachts.  Nice!  Good for them!  You work hard enough, you may just enjoy it before you keel over.  To each their own.  Good!  Means our country isn't totally gone yet, thanks to the commie Marxists still in charge!  Not for long!  Oh and I see them panicking!  πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

This shot reminds me of Chicago, minus the palm trees and missing the Sears tower.  There are still some shacks up to stay at.  But nothing is cheap there.  They created jobs, by making all the parking valet. $$$ You would think since you are staying in a place they would throw that in as a perk.  NO PERKS FOR YOU!

There was a night life special.  I didn't think the food was worth the price, but enjoyed the frolic of a mermaid...  I was hoping for a merman, but then I bet it would be gay...  Plus the part fish part human is satanic.  I did bless my self the whole night.

Here she was phishing for sand dollars $$$.  She was entertaining in a cute way.  But then, I'm an old lady, so what do I know.  πŸ πŸΉ

The place had lots of tanks.  I even found Nemo!

The show was fun, in a fishy sort of way.

Talk about bragging about size πŸ˜‚

Well it got to be too loud in there, plus I wanted to get up early and leave.  I was homesick!  Too many people for me!

I drove, so there was that, get me the hell out of here mode!  First, I had to take our gusts to the princess cruise ship.  As I was waving bon voyage, with a grin on my face, I said to my husband.  "We aren't doing this again!

We aren't into cruises either.  We went to the islands and stayed on them, so many times, that we are pretty much done with that too.  We live at a resort!  Our property is amazing!  Soon as it warms up a little, we open all our doors to the pool patio!  I'm just fine!

I did the spacious grounds when we got here.  My design my own plants and a butterfly garden area.  lots of area's actually.  Now I hired a gardener, but we do the lawn.  He comes once a month.  Very good, for just around the house edging, weeding applied mulch and is even knowledgeable about the sprinkler system we have.

This spring I plan to power wash the pool area and paint again.  It seems every two years you need to keep up on that part.  Not bad, in Washington State I had to do it every spring!  I had to not only power wash the deck, sand the railings, because they were wood and stain them too!  Yuck!

Well we are home thank heavens!  The guest room was cleaned up and bedding, towels, washed already.  Now to pick out what cookie cutters  and which sprits, I will be doing for a Christmas party on our block.  I'll make two different kinds.  A good time will be had by all!  We always do!
