No, I didn't have to hide the knives! LOL... We are of like minds.
The food stations were planned out! It worked! Plates, utensils, were away from the food area so there was no crowding. Then it was into the kitchen to the island, just like I figured would happen. We had the army here!
Some gathered in the gym area, some in the kitchen, and the pool was a hit with many! It was a warm pleasant night! We did have both burners going. Perfect ambiance, not warmth. The glass walls are pocket doors. We were able to just shove them open, out of the way, in both the gym area and the living room area. Most wanted to be outdoors. We have at least 8 places to sit if you wanted to, outside. Most liked standing and marveling at my path, outside the caged in pool area. The seller was with us and is now part of our family of friends! He loved, what I have accomplished so far, with the yard. It was a magical fun night! Plenty of food, drink and Christmas jazz in the background, mixed with intelligent, sane, conversations.
We had retired Air force, Police, Medical, Tech engineers, all were very well on the same page. They seemed to have pegged us as critical thinkers. They didn't see any TV's! One couple that lives next to our property, are born and raised here. I like her gardening skills as well as character. I saw a tomboy attitude with grit! Actually a few were native to the area. The military folks got to do quite a bit of traveling, even Afghanistan. Go figure, right? I didn't need to put that in. We already know that fact.
Most bought land around them so no one can develop. Hence the reason why we are also here. We did our research of the area. Free from the commie loons! So naturally we were greeted with open arms! Hugs and kisses too! We love each and every one of them! Yep! Friends for life!
