Still Praying For Those Hit By The Hurricane
We were prepared to help others. My niece came from the Lakeland area. She found out her neighbor lost her roof. There were no deaths reported from the storm. It's amazing the cat rescue we saw on video went well! As for the shark that swam across the road? They do make good eating.
It's a fabulous day for us today! A good day to hang out by the pool and chill. I'm not going to do any gardening with company here. Later we will go and have dinner out tonight. There were a few down trees in the area. I'm sure that Crystal River got flooded a little, but they always do in heavy rain fall. We are a bit up in elevation, 10 or so miles from the Gulf.
As for Obiden coming? Why? He might think he is in another state! The man is confused beyond hope! Ah but there are the puppet masters in charge. This really is getting stupid and I meant what I said! I refuse to put my time into friendship with people that I don't like. People need to leave this country, if they think my way of life is wrong! I don't take kindly to dictating fools telling me I'm mean. No, I'm letting others know they won't bully me! I also won't tolerate them! I don't have to!

Here We Go
We aren't buying bottled water. We are using zip locks "gal." size. Put them in the freezers to help your food if power goes out. We have filtered water. It's really quite good! Also we have a room with no windows "Huge" bathroom with two sinks. I will put a few of those bags for drinking in both sinks.
We have these wonderful buckets from home depot. Those will be used with a container to flush the toilet. In the linen closet there is a shelf all clear for food and we have blankets. It is also a huge closet. I have a bag of carrots, hard boiled eggs, bread cheese with other goodies in a freezer pack. That all fits on the floor of the linen closet. This house has 3 huge linen closets, one being in the master bathroom. Also it's not a manufactured home. Did I do my homework before moving? You bet your sweet ass I have!
Now also tornadoes will be a factor in the path. This house is build with cinderblock. Our carriage house is made of steel beams. They build things to be hurricane appropriate. Maybe not the homes built in the 60's, or manufactured homes. We shall find out! Ready to help others. Gotta put the o2 on us first, then the others.
We are also near a drainage area and land was set aside for runoff of water. Being up a little over 100ft in elevation helps.

A Short Lifespan
Nothing lasts forever. Best make sure you absorb that thought, and enjoy the time God gives you. Enjoy what he has given, for you to enjoy!
As people may know, I'm growing purple passion fruit. Did you know it will only live 5 to 7 years? As it ages it will give less fruit. I have two plants right now. I already had flowers on one. No fruit has been seen yet. I can't wait! The last time I had this fruit was when I was in the tropical part of Australia. It was very good!
You know who else loves the passion flower? The Gulf Orange, that will become a beautiful butterfly!
It's amazing what you can grow here! I'm sure all will be good! Like I have said, "The good always win when God is a big part of your life!" It sure didn't take long for me to grow and landscape this place! That area where the butterfly garden is, was all grass!
I didn't do it alone. I know that! Only fools pound their chest! Remember God does not like pride. Its the worse! This is why I slowly stepped away from social media. I'm not meant to take part, because, I am too passionately strong. I'm not a person to teach.
It all is in God's hands. If you think that it's Gods work you are doing? You best make darn sure! Just saying! Look to no man, turn to God alone. I am way ahead of my project. The butterfly garden just keeps improving, with new additions. I need to let everything fill in now. I did plant some unusual plants. The humming bird tree is growing fast! I will be wrapping it and covering it for the month we have frost. I feel it will be established by then. Sea Grape bush, is another unusual one. Definitely covering that bush too! We shall see, because all my Hawaiian ones came back. The ti plant is now 4ft tall! The red Hollywood hibiscus, and others came back too! I still will cover them this year.

It's another nice day! Perfect time to do gardening is before 10am. Then one needs to hit the pool. We have more rain to come this afternoon. YAY! The place looks so green and healthy! Happy little butterflies all over the place! Thank you God!

This is a fruit inside the lantern that is used in making salsa. Very delish! It's a tropical plant but can be grown inside too. I have it in my garden.

A Beautiful Day
The socialist marxist, commies all hate, that we are ignoring them, enjoying our life regardless. It's sad they are so miserable. They have everything yet they want to destroy others livelihood, and American dream! It's sad that they are trying to break the American spirit. Not happening honey! Not with me! By the way, they are losing. The cornered rats are planning even more distraction via corrupt media. I say keep it up you mongrels! Good always wins, God's people are fighting back! Can't wait for my Ron DeSantis for governor sign to come! That should piss off some of the swamp rats, thinking they can live here! Go back to your shit holes you voted for! We don't need you, or want you here!
Now I feel better! I planted two more plants in my butterfly garden, did my water aerobics, and all in the morning! My day is over by noon! I have 5 more plants to put in! Two of my plants will go into large pots. I have to cover some of them this winter. I need to go around counting how many covers, I will need when the freeze comes. We had just the two days or so in January/February last year. The weather app is very helpful. Even though things came back, I want to keep them from damage.
Heavy duty weeding will be done this fall. I already established my paths and all. Pretty much all maintenance with more mulch now. I think next year, more trees will be added to the forest area. We will let that stay wild.
My H.Potter trellis just came! I need to put that together next. The butterfly garden is getting filled in. Still not to perfection, but it's getting there. To think I was going to wait till fall to put this all in. I'm glad I just did it! This was all grass. To me grass is worthless. Nice, but I like more plants with landscape around the place. The weeds went nuts with the rainfall! Plus I kept putting it off. Oh well, I'll have a nice burn pile when I'm done. I must say the weeds are pretty though. The butterflies like a messy yard. I have to have my manicured area though! They want messy, they can go into the forest! After visiting all my flowers though first, of course!
We are up a whole 100ft. in elevation! It gets cold here but the pool is heated to 78 for the cooler months. Right now it's at 80 and no heater is needed for 8 months. I like to cold plunge. We used the pool till the end of December, last year! This year in January we will acid clean the pool, then paint the patio. Cold plunging in March! YES!
The rain was brutal! We got free water for the pool! I think we only had to add water a couple of times, and not that much this summer. The salt water pools are fantastic! Not much maintenance either! After the downpour the pool is at a good salt level. Yay!
Here is how much we got yesterday, and more is coming. It's sunny and then weather happens. I love it! You just have to learn to work around it all. I love the tropics!
