The socialist marxist, commies all hate, that we are ignoring them, enjoying our life regardless. It's sad they are so miserable. They have everything yet they want to destroy others livelihood, and American dream! It's sad that they are trying to break the American spirit. Not happening honey! Not with me! Now I feel better! I planted two more plants in my butterfly garden, did my water aerobics, and all in the morning! My day is over by noon! I have 5 more plants to put in! Two of my plants will go into large pots. I have to cover some of them this winter. I need to go around counting how many covers, I will need when the freeze comes. We had just the two days or so in January/February last year. The weather app is very helpful. Even though things came back, I want to keep them from damage.
Heavy duty weeding will be done this fall. I already established my paths and all. Pretty much all maintenance with more mulch now. I think next year, more trees will be added to the forest area. We will let that stay wild.
My H.Potter trellis just came! I need to put that together next. The butterfly garden is getting filled in. Still not to perfection, but it's getting there. To think I was going to wait till fall to put this all in. I'm glad I just did it! This was all grass. To me grass is worthless. Nice, but I like more plants with landscape around the place. The weeds went nuts with the rainfall! Plus I kept putting it off. Oh well, I'll have a nice burn pile when I'm done. I must say the weeds are pretty though. The butterflies like a messy yard. I have to have my manicured area though! They want messy, they can go into the forest! After visiting all my flowers though first, of course!
We are up a whole 100ft. in elevation! It gets cold here but the pool is heated to 78 for the cooler months. Right now it's at 80 and no heater is needed for 8 months. I like to cold plunge. We used the pool till the end of December, last year! This year in January we will acid clean the pool, then paint the patio. Cold plunging in March! YES!
The rain was brutal! We got free water for the pool! I think we only had to add water a couple of times, and not that much this summer. The salt water pools are fantastic! Not much maintenance either! After the downpour the pool is at a good salt level. Yay!
Here is how much we got yesterday, and more is coming. It's sunny and then weather happens. I love it! You just have to learn to work around it all. I love the tropics!
