I was in the middle of doing my air fried, fries.  It's built into my new range!  I never bought an air frier.  Thought about it, but I know how tech stuff is.  I figured it would be in a range someday.  I was right!  

Now I need to do the back splash on the wall!  I really didn't like it, but that didn't deter us from getting this house and property.  I knew, my husband knew, how my mind works.  I'll do and get what I want,  changing what I don't like.  We have done quite a bit in the two years here, already!  The yard needed more, so I tackled that first!  I needed that palm tree in the back!  It looked too much like Eastern Washington State with those pine trees!  

Well they could have gone for less time.  I was use to having everything raw, in that last oven!  Next time, I will know.  They were still yummy and crunchy though.  Less time and it will be perfection!

As these were in the oven I went and visited with my neighbors.  Dropping off cookies and saying hi to another that I really like to talk to, because of gardening.

Then I get this text with 6 people having a party line text with me!  Really, all I put in those cookies was sugar, flour, eggs and love!  Already starting party plans for October!  Nice!  I feel my demeanor changing, living here with my kind of folks!

I love my new oven and already have it on my phone and iPad.  I keep thinking of older people that would have issues with this technology.

l feel a lighter backdrop now, will lighten up the counter.  What is there, is little brown and tan squares.  It drives me crazy!   That last stove was also a hazard because the knobs were in the back!  It sat higher so now the wall is showing!  A democrat probably designed that last oven!

Ok my old demeanor is back again!  I think God wants me to stay strong!  Oh, and I will!

Trump Wins Another Debate!

Orange is GOOD!  I'll be taking some to my neighbor tomorrow.  She is always thinking of us, when she bakes too.  When my springer was sent, to the rainbow bridge.  They came with treats for us!  Now that is what caring friendship is!  With silver and gold!  Thanks be to God!

Comfort Food.

 Since the government isn't giving us any comfort, because basically they give two shits about our country!  Or us American citizens!  I have made my own comfort!  They will NEVER get to my soul!  God is with me!  Those touting Gods name, are actually pacifying the imbeciles, that still believe in them!  They're actually running with the devil!  I'm talking about Chuck Schumer, Kevin McCarthy and the rest of those bozos!  Chuck mentioned God?  Really?  Better watch yourself there, Chucky boy!  

Cooking with God!  I know I'm the biggest sinner.  At least, I do recognize that and pray!  Those rejects, just throw his name around!  Oh well let's get on with it!

Oh look!  Free water for the pool!  How nice is that!  The gutters over filled!  We got 3 inches and now the sun is out!

I have had another day off from watering!  We got lots of rain here and I am grateful!  My herbs got washed by the rain.   Basil, parsley, dill, garlic, onion & sage.  I used all fresh herbs from the garden.  

I know that onion goes in to sauté first, however I had the bacon in it, after browning the meat.  Taking the meat out, adding the bacon, onion, and introducing the meat afterwords.  Followed by the seasonings and broth.  In this case onion can be added second, when bacon is used.  Otherwise it is first always.  Sautéed in clarified butter, of course!  Did you know that?  Well, now you do!

It's hunting season!  Fresh meat for the stew!  Potatoes added in an hour followed by celery,  carrots, more broth and seasoned to perfection!  It all will go nicely with my homemade bread!  The smell again is wonderful!

I'll use a strainer to add my thickening, whisking it all in a strainer, from the top.  The easiest way to make gravy too.   

I got all my herbs collected, right after the down pour!  

I did check on all the fruits and vegetables, before the down pour.  Everything is growing!  The cantaloupe is forming on the vines, with the watermelon being as big as a golf ball now!

I heard "not that I shopped there ever" Target has to close several stores in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco ...  because of theft.  Just wait till they start on the neighborhoods.  It's going to get good!  I also heard about the car jacking in a Bellevue area.  Cops just say give them your keys.  That is why we moved!  I saw it coming.  

Besides that, if it happened to me, they would have had to darn the perp with a body bag!  I would then, be the one locked up!

MAGA People Know How To Have Fun!

 It's raining!  It's pouring, the liberals are crying!  Good day for baking and listening to "In The Litterbox"!

I can't wait till Friday!  My new range is coming!!  Damn thing takes twice as long to bake on this old one!  Then sometimes it burns everything, when I see it's off in temperature, I'll leave in whatever I'm baking, then it suddenly surges!  

I'm here making biscotti, since the weather decided to take over my watering and weeding duties!  The entire place smells like pumpkin spice!  Love it!  It is a memory trigger, of fall!  We do too get seasons here, in Florida!  Up on our hill, elevation of over 100 ft.  we even get frost for maybe a few hours in January!  Nice during the day and in February, we start using the pool again!

Ta Da!  Ready to go in the oven, then this next step after baking is to cut them all put them on the side and crisp them.  As you see it still looks not baked on some of the piece's!  Ok it said 20 - 30 minutes?  Try 45 and me biting my nails because, I don't want them burnt!  This is the hard part as it is!  

As you can see I cut them anyway and they are to bake on the parchment paper for another 15-20 minutes.  That takes care of the raw part and it always is ok, it's the fact that I have to give it so much time and worry!  Hence the reason I am getting a new range!!  Tired of the white!  I'm not racist, I just like the finger print free stainless like our new fridge!  I'm sure the microwave will go next!  Isn't that how it goes!

 I made the icing for them.  I'll stack them together, into a loaf again.  Then, I will ice them when they cool.  The fun part!  Icing is all ready to go!

Next is to enjoy them!  Y'all want one?

A Sunday Update On Gods Gifts!

 The only President I know is Donald J. Trump!  

I have eyes to see and ears to hear.  The dems have been brain dead long ago!  The GOP was right behind them all along!  I have no problem writing people off!  I know God has got this!  You think you matter to me?  NOPE!

As I do, what ever the heck I want to.  I do my part, in my own way.  Too bad others, just like to make themselves sick and others sick.  I tend to go far as I can, away from anyone that remotely, goes along with stupid.  They might have a degree and think they are smart, not so much! 

Life is to be enjoyed, God needs to be put first!  My loyalty is with God first!  That is just how I'm planing on living!  I know, I'm much more happier that way!  

Have you all noticed, how the dollar is going away?  Yet they sell you gold and silver?  The ones selling it, are getting the worthless dollar?  Hmmmmm...  I also notice, how paraphernalia is a big selling point!  Everyone and their brother, are also writing books!  I must be the only one not making money!  Do I care?  Oh hell no!  I'm retired!  I worked 40 + f'n years!  The government STOLL FROM ME!  THEY STILL ARE!!

I don't care, because I am growing my own food.  I know how to hunt and fish!  Also, I'm a pretty damn good cook!

I just got a new toy to freeze-dry preserve food.  The new oven we are getting this week, will have an air sous vide mode.  Um, ok you smart asses out there!  I know how to cook on coals and fire!  I have done it!  I have a nice fire pit too!  Lots of timber near by on the property!

I just made these cinnamon rolls this morning.  Actually I made them yesterday.  I pulled them out early at 5am, to raise before baking.  Anyway, in our old stove, that is the original stove that came with the 16 year old home.  It doesn't hold the temp!  I check all my meat with a thermometer.  Everything was taking twice as long to cook and at dangerous temps, with meat!  It's time for a new stove!

I used the new sealer, for my rolls.  I just got this thing, to preserve the rest in the freezer.  You can do wet, dry vacuum all or some air out and it seals it.  No more stupid containers!  Saves space and keeps freezer burn at bay!  I still put dates and use it all within 6 months though.  We shall see.  By the way these rolls, they are the original Cinna-Bun recipe. 

I'm not crazy about cooking things in plastic though.  Plastic has chemicals.  However, adding herbs butter and such, then defrosting in the fridge, will be like helping season your food.  I plan to cut the bag cooking it in a glass dish or broiler.

I can't wait to do my seasoning and meats, fish, veggies from the garden!  

Speaking of gardening.  The update!  Herbs, pepper plant, zucchini, winter squash are still thriving!  Even the delicious tomatoes are coming up!  Yep!  All from seed!  sowed in late August, early September.

On the left below, are carrots and green onions.  Slow but steady.  On the right, we have snap pea's and regular peas.

Lettuce is getting bolder!  It's nice at different stages.  That way, I maybe able to use it all.  Or give it away.  On the right, the pumpkins are getting a slow but steady start!

Oh look the cantaloup and watermelon are taking over the lead!  I have seen several starts!  Let's hope they come to the finish line!

Cherry tomatoes!  Now they need to grow, just a bit larger and turn a nice red orange!

I plan to direct sow more things in the spring.  Our fall seems like spring here in Florida.  With less sun the cold weather crops should do better than the hot.  It is supposed to hit 90 this afternoon.  It's at 86 right now but very pleasant!  The temps go down into the 60's at night.  It's a race for what fruits vegetables, will be ready first!

I Know A Few Addresses That The Illegals Can Move To!

 One being in Redmond Washington, another in Cedar Lake Indiana!  The one in Cedar Lake was a teacher.  Retired now and still dumb!   she maybe can teach them French!  She collects frogs.  Interesting!  Since they are ceramic they won't feel the water boil!  

The other one in Redmond can have them work at nursing homes as cheap labor!  They can all live with them because they think it's just fine, that the boarder is open to whomever!  "These are the same idiots that believe in wearing masks." 

The sanctuary states are now complaining?  Why?  They wanted it!

As I Promised

Agave that I got from my friend.  They are getting big!  The giant ones get to be $100.00 or more at the nursery.  These were tiny over a year ago.  I suspect another year they will be double in size.  They also produce new plants.  My friend tells me she gets so many she throws them away!  

 

This is another 3 plants that I got from my other friend.  Mine looked like this when it popped!  I wish I took a picture of it!

I got three little ones of the Pagoda plants.  They also were tiny!  Only one was mature enough to bloom.  These will be planting themselves on the property!  Which is fine, because we have the space for it.  I also hope the strawberries make a nice ground cover with lots of strawberries!  Those gave me a second harvest too!

13-Year-Old Shoots Home Intruder After Taking Gun From Hesitant Mother I...

I could use a gun at the age of 8.  Thank heavens nothing like this happened!  

We respected the guns never locked up, always loaded for just that in case.  My mother would have used it, if she had to.  Some people can't, but thank heavens for the 13 year old, that knew what to do!  

I hope I never have to use it.  But I will to save my ass if I have to!!  

The Fall Of The Biden Administration?

One can certainly hope for that!  The whole, of the corruption in place right now, needs to fall hard!  Or we won't have a country anymore!  Dear Lord help us please!

 Fall is in the air.  Here in Florida, after being here for the second year,  I can feel the change.  It's not as hot but it's still warm.  As I looked out our large window doors, I think Yeah I like this resort.  Especially in the cool mornings!  We open the doors, out of the way!  It's like sitting outdoors!  All three panels disappear into the wall to the right!  I love the forest in the distance!

A resort where you have to take care of the property, then sit back and enjoy it!  I never feel like going anyplace!  When we do, I am so happy to be home again! 

There are some really good folks near by.  I just came home, from a wonderful afternoon with friends!  It was very nice to celebrate the change of the season, catching up on things in our life, future trips and so on.  Sipping on wine, doing an art project, laughing, joking around.  Might as well enjoy it while we can!  God sure is the one calling the shots!  Long as we acknowledge him, we will have peace.  Satan hates that.  This is how we will win!

The house we all met at, was like a doll house!  Gorgeous inside and out!  Including a garden tour!  She said, that it was me, that inspired her.  I'm glad I can do something!  Seriously, she did a fantastic job on her yard.  Beautiful!  

This was my second time there.  She has done so much, since the last time I was there, that now I'm inspired to do more too!

Yes those are my pumpkin spice biscotti below!  No one died, so that is always a good sign!  My favorite was the truffles for desert!  Very good!!  They were still covered in front of that pumpkin.  

As I looked around, I enjoyed all the festive fall things basically in every room!
