Chicago never had a chance at hosting the Olympics in the first place. Nothing any president could have done to change that. Obama did manage to get kicked out of the game first, though. The One wasn't able to cast his spell of corruption over the already corrupted IOC. They just weren't impressed.
Rio was the best choice from the get go and I look forward to some really neat hosts in the future, like Kenya, that have given so much to the Olympics but haven't had the chance to shine.
