I just read Iraq the Model on the issue of its flock slowly changing. You can show people by living a good life or you can talk till you are blue in the face. You have that option. That is all you are left with. Because others pride or different way of life will always be in the way. I tend to ignore people that are different then I am. "I don’t have time for nonsense." I just hope that people will come to their senses and start to act accordingly. The old ways are not working for Arabs so they need to get with the program and welcome a freedom of change.

I hope that the kids that were brain washed will snap out of, the preaching from “the religion of peace”! Deep down you do know right from wrong and no one can change that in your heart but you! If Arabs have the intellect to see that then there is hope. However if they don’t then there is no hope for Arabs and no way people will allow the thugs to go on killing innocent people! That piece of red, white and blue bunting means five thousand years of struggle upward. It is the full-grown flower of ages of fighting for liberty. It is the century plant of human hope in bloom.

From FoxNews: Iran Studying Nuclear Incentives Package, Will Likely Offer Changes.
Iran's foreign minister said Saturday the government likely would suggest amendments to a Western package of incentives meant to persuade the Islamic republic to give up its uranium enrichment program.

Manouchehr Mottaki would not give any timing for Iran's response. The Tehran regime previously has said some parts of the package were acceptable while others needed to be changed, and the central issue of uranium enrichment needed clarification.
"It is a step forward," he said.

Mottaki said Iran would come up with its own amendments to the package.
"In the end, we will present our proposals. It's a two-way street," he told reporters at a joint news conference with Iraqi politician Abdul-Aziz al-Hakim, who heads that country's largest Shiite party, the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq.

Mottaki's remarks echoed comments made Friday by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
"Generally speaking, we're regarding this offer as a step forward and I have instructed my colleagues to carefully consider it," Ahmadinejad said after meeting Chinese President Hu Jintao in Shanghai.

Iran denies accusations by the United States and others that it is seeking to develop nuclear weapons, saying its program would only generate energy.

I am happy to report that the local news did something I felt good about and that was to show a family that had support for our commander and chief. They lost a loved one in the military however they feel he didn’t die in vain and I have to say the same.

Love That Vacation Time

I will enjoy every moment and think of all of you. As I clutch the sand I will realize that time marches on as it sifts through my fingers.

We all need to do something fun everyday. Funny you don’t think of this sort of shit when you are in your 20’s or 30’s! But 50 seem to hit you harder. People think they have forever. But we don’t. Never think about the time we have left just think of the good times to come!

Sure glad I worked out! I will also be enjoying my new body. And I didn’t even need plastic surgery! Eating right and exercise makes a person look younger. I am in my 20’s again!

Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy and find that special fun someone to share it all with before it is too late. You can take them to see the Da Vinci code after all it is only entertainment! Sometimes people just take things to serious. You can’t tell people what to think either so knock it off! Let em think what they want to even though they are all wrong!

Trust and Watching Ones Back

You know when I make friends I am usually happy about it and give my all when I see an interest in a friend ship. However recently I have been lead on only to find the truth! In the back of my mind I knew it all along but some how I thought ‘well this person must be sincere because, of their actions toward me. But a gut feeling (my instincts) (spirit guides) kept on telling me other wise.

This has nothing to do with all my new friends on the blog or old friends that I know. It is a rather foreign relation sort of thing. Now I will never trust again! My border is now closed! You don't look me in the eye when I look at you tells me not to trust you! That you are full of guilt and that you can't handle it that I am a woman and that I can look you in the eye! I know why you look away it is the guilt by how you treat woman isn't it! I knew it all along!

My will and my instincts come from God and the other side! I will not be swayed or brain washed! You probably already found that out if you are reading this! I am not sympathetic to your radical views and I will never be a part of a crazy ass religion! I know you would have no problem in killing me. Guess what I will take you out and be ready for you when you try! Got that one too!? I am not a sensitive person so don’t try it out! In my short time in the military I have experienced more suffering than I could have imagined before joining up. I have held the hand of a dying Marine who had only one last wish: that someone would be with him and hold his hand as he passed on. So I sat there with a strange man, holding his hand, not saying a word, until he died. ...

I have watched grown men cry, and cried with them, as we stood in front of the traditional memorial of a rifle thrust bayonet-first into the ground with the fallen soldier's helmet and dog tags draped on the weapon. His empty boots stand at attention in the fore of this tableau.

My heart broke when I gazed upon a little girl, no older than my own 5-year-old, crying and begging in broken English for food and water. I have awoken from sleep in shock as it finally dawned on me how close I came to death on a recent patrol. I have lived in fear that I would never see my family again, or that my daughter would grow up without her daddy. ...
On one of those days in Iraq where I wasn't sure if I'd see my daughter again, I was working at a checkpoint near a small camp in the desert. ... The locals would gather around our checkpoints to try to sell us things, beg for food or water, or just hang around the soldiers.

On this particular day one of the locals had his little girl with him. She was shyly watching me from behind his legs. When I smiled and waved at her, she brazenly ran up to me with a big smile and held out her arms, expecting to be picked up. At first I was shocked at her sudden bravery, and it took me a second to reach down and pick her up. When I did, she immediately kissed me on my cheek and then nestled in as if she meant to stay a while.

I looked toward her father and he immediately began talking rapidly in Arabic and gesturing at me. Our translator quickly explained that he, the father, had been locked in a prison for most of the child's life. He had been sentenced to death for being a Shiite dissident traitor. The man went on to say that soldiers wearing the same patch on the shoulder as I was (the 101st Airborne Division) had freed him shortly after we began the liberation of Iraq. His daughter from then on believed that the famous Screaming Eagle patch of the 101st meant that we were angels sent to protect her family.

I sat in a little folding chair with that girl in my arms for well over 30 minutes. She trusted me so completely that she had fallen asleep with her head on my shoulder. All of my fears and worries faded as I held that little miracle. It had been so long since I had held my own daughter that this episode was even more healing for me than it was for her.

I have often wondered if, on that day when I missed my family so much, it wasn't a coincidence that she found me, of all soldiers. Maybe it was that innocent girl, and not me, that was the angel sent by God.

Coincidence? I think not!
